Higher Education Leadership and Governance

 

Working with an institution’s leadership team, Dr. Bataille will interview all the members of the team, assess collective  strengths and weaknesses of the team  and provide customized strategies for improving the effectiveness of the team and where appropriate,  each member,  to achieve the institution’s goals.   

In the arena of governance, many recent breakdowns of communication between presidents and boards or presidents and faculty leaders are the result of unclear definitions of shared governance.  Dr. Bataille will facilitate retreats or collaborate with institutional leaders to clarify the roles of the leaders, faculty and the board in the shared governance process.
